Employer - MRCC Group - www.mrccgroup.com Client - Amway Location - Remote Full time role Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and manage cloud-native databases using AWS services such as Amazon RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB, Elastic Cache, and Open Search. Implement/Configure Database Migration Solutions – like AWS DMS, SCT (Schema Conversion Tool). Monitor & Optimize database and SQL query performance. Perform backup and restore (within & cross account). Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues, ensuring high availability and reliability. Develop and maintain IaC solutions using Terraform, AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK), and other tools. Automate deployment pipelines for Infrastructure provisioning & configuration while ensuring security, scalability with best practices. Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, AWS code pipeline & Argo CD to streamline application deployment. Use Terraform, Lambda, Python, TypeScript for writing reusable IaC modules and scripts to manage infrastructure. Experience in working with Observability tools like Dynatrace, Splunk. Collaborate with project/development teams to ensure seamless integration between applications and infrastructure. Monitor and maintain cloud infrastructure for optimal performance and cost-efficiency. Assist in disaster recovery planning and ensure compliance with organizational policies. Stay updated with new AWS offerings and integrate them to enhance existing systems. Primary Skills: In-depth knowledge of AWS database services: Aurora (MySQL/PostgreSQL), DynamoDB, Elastic Cache, RDS, and Open Search. Experience in designing and managing distributed and scalable databases in the cloud. Knowledge & experience ITIL tools and process. Good understanding of incident, change & problem management. Secondary Skill sets expected: Proficiency in IaC tools: Terraform, AWS CDK, AWS CloudFormation. Programming knowledge in TypeScript, Python & use of Lambda coding to support IaC Tools. Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins & Argo CD. Solid understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git) and automation practices.
