Chennai Super Kings (CSK) are known for their iconic yellow and blue kit which is among the most recognisable uniforms in world cricket. The colour combination of bright yellow shirts with navy blue sleeves, trousers and caps gives a very cheerful look to the team and its players who proudly wear it during matches. Yellow being believed to be auspicious by many people in South India also makes this jersey even more special in that region specially when they are playing at home ground MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai .
The team has also been seen donning pink kits on occasion as part of an initiative taken up by IPL’s governing body BCCI to spread awareness about breast cancer. This uniform was first worn by CSK during their match against Sunrisers Hyderabad back in 2016 where all the players were seen wearing pink shirt with white stripes along with white trousers & caps giving them a different yet stylish look altogether !
However, apart from these two primary colours, CSK have also played few matches wearing red and blue jerseys over years whenever there have been clashes between batman logo used across multiple franchises .
